POLICIES, TERMS & CONDITIONS

Drummers: Bring your sticks, felts and cymbals.  Felts are available to check out for free if you forget them but sticks and cymbals are not.

Guitarists/Bassists: Bring your own instruments, picks, and a cable to connect to one of our amps.  Instruments are not available to rent.  Cables are available to use in your session free-of-charge if needed.  All our 4x12 guitar cabs are 16 ohms impedance - you may only use your amps in our cabs if your amp matches that impedance rating. 

Vocalists: SM58 mics and cables are available to use in your sessions for free.

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, AmEx, Debit, Paypal, Venmo or Cash.

All reservations are not officially booked until payment for the booking is received.

All session dates and times are subject to availability and not guaranteed to be available if not booked, and paid for, in advance.

Website bookings are paid for with credits purchased through the Paypal checkout system.  Paypal account is not required.

Tips for your recording engineers are not expected but are certainly welcome.

One copy of stereo recording session/downloadable link sent to the email address on file or as arranged by your engineer before the session start.

Session may be subject to additional fees if additional services/equipment is required.

Use of the following equipment is included in the session rate: 

5-piece drum kit and accessories (Cymbal stands but no cymbals, single-pedal kick)

At least (2) Two guitar amplifiers and cabinets for each

(1) One bass guitar amplifier and cabinet

(1) One small P.A. – 2 speakers, amplifier, and mixer. 

Any necessary microphones, cables and stands. 

One stereo recording of the session with email link sent to the address on file or as designated at the start of the session.

Book and prepay online for the best deal – no discounts are given outside of the website unless paying for 12-hour full day rate.   

There are prepaid credit deals to save money for those that rehearse here frequently in the Paypal credit checkout system.

Bookings can be rescheduled without penalty up until 48-hours prior to the session start. No refunds on bookings or unused time.

Same-day bookings are welcome but subject to availability.

We close after the last scheduled band leaves - whenever that is. 

It’s best to call ahead if you haven’t pre-purchased your time to make sure we are here for you.

- Shoes and pants must be worn at all times.

- Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages on the premises is prohibited. 

- Non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in the rooms provided the beverage is in a sealed container (plastic bottles w/ screw-on lids, travel mugs, etc., are OK - No Glass containers, paper/plastic cups with straws, etc.) which must remain sealed when not in use. 

- SER does not permit the possession, sale, or use of any illegal substances on the premises – violation of this condition will get you thrown out and it is not up for discussion or debate.

- No unsupervised children under the age of 12 in the halls or front desk areas. They must be with the adult guest they came with or have another responsible supervisor with them. 

- Food is not allowed in the rooms. 

- Our spaces are for rehearsal, recording, and creativity ONLY. Please do not engage in any activity that may damage or destroy the equipment.

Clients will be held responsible for damages to SER equipment that result from careless or malicious abuse of said equipment. SER will charge for no more than 120% of the original SER purchase price of the item(s) in question if we deem that the item was misused or handled improperly.

We are more than happy to provide you with this gear you need to play, so please take care of it! Treat it as if you paid for it yourself, because if you break it, YOU WILL!

SER is not responsible for the loss or damage of misplaced or unsupervised personal goods. Please take care of your stuff, and be respectful of everyone else’s stuff.

Please book enough time in the rooms to factor in any set up and tear down time you need for your session.  

Session time is the time you have us reserve the room and the time you occupy the room, not just the time you spend playing music.  Engineer will generally stop the stereo recording by 10-15 minutes prior to the booked end time to allow for time for the engineer needs to master a copy for you to have available at the session end time.

Amps, cabs, drums and PA are provided to minimize the need for setup and teardown time.  

Have the room vacated by the time your booking time ends to avoid being charged any additional $6.50 fees for up to 15-minutes of extra session time used in the room.  

Please be especially mindful of the time you have the room occupied and courteous to not cut into another band’s practice time when other groups are booked to start immediately after you.
